On 16 January 2026, the Municipality of Ponte de Lima and the Gastronomic Confraternity of Arroz de Sarrabulho hosted the ceremony awarding the first 14 TSG recognition plaques to the restaurants certified to serve Arroz de Sarrabulho à Moda de Ponte de Lima as a Traditional Speciality Guaranteed.

Following an audit by AGRICERT — Certificação de Produtos Alimentares, the first honoured restaurants were:

- Encanada
- Manuel Padeiro
- Mercado
- Petiscas
- Sabores do Lima
- Solar do Taberneiro
- Sonho do Capitão
- Taberna Cadeia Velha

The Vice-President of the Municipality, Paulo Sousa, emphasised that "the certification represents not only the recognition of the quality and authenticity of this traditional rice dish, but also a lever for touristic and economic promotion of the municipality and the entire region".
The application process remains open to all restaurants in Ponte de Lima that wish to comply with the TSG specification.
